オカユというキャラクター

地元の友人・SM氏（イカガワシイものではなくイニシャルである）から
「いちじきdfwがはまってたオカユというキャラクターが何者なのかいまだに気になる」
とのリクエスト？を頂いたのでオカユについて書こうと思う。

小6のある日、塾でノートに落書きをしていた時、数日前に祖父がサラサラと人の横顔を上手に描いていた事を思い出し、同じように落書きをしてみた。

…失敗だ。
しかもなんかオカマっぽい。そこで少し描き足した。

よし！そこそこオカマの絵になったぞ。
じゃあ、誰がみてもわかるように文字を入れよう。
「オ、カ、マ」と。これでよし！

と、ここまで書いたところで近くの席の奴が覗き込んできた。
「なんだよ、そのオカユって！」
「ちげーよ、オカマだよ」
「オカユとしか読めねーよ」
半ば強引にオカマはオカユという名前にされてしまった。
しかもそいつはオカユを気に入ったらしく、休み時間になると
「こいつ、オカユっての描いてたぜ！」などと大はしゃぎだ。
そうこうしているうちに自分も「洋風な帽子のオカマの名前がオカユ」というシュールさがツボにハマってしまった。
そして、オカユを完全体に進化させた。

そして至る所に描きまくった。
幼き日の思い出だ。
